Mayor’s Welcome

Dear fellow Fruitvale residents,

We are fortunate to live in an area with great natural beauty and many community amenities for our health, social, recreational, educational and cultural well-being.  Parks and recreational services are important to our residents, and we continued to enhance recreational opportunities through partnerships with community groups and other local governments.  Numerous upgrades were made to the ball park complex at Haines Park, including upgrades to the concession, and various new playgrounds were added to our community, thanks to the support of many partners, striving to make our community a healthier living place.

As a Council, we are committed to the Values and Principles following.  I am confident that this Council and our dedicated employees will move our community forward in a fiscally responsible manner, while providing the services needed to preserve the unique lifestyle character we enjoy in Fruitvale.

Sincerely,
Mayor Patricia Cecchini
